Shipping Info

Our shipping prices are based on destination, weight of the package or the box/tube size required to ship.  We do not add any handling fees.  Establishing shipping fees is an inexact science.  If we see that our website appears to charge substantially more than the actual cost of shipping and supplies, we will credit the difference.  (This may occur when multiple prints, or multiple framed items are ordered) 

ABOUT SHIPPING CHARGES FOR FRAMED PIECES: Generally, if ordering more than 2 framed pieces, it is best to call the studio (410-956-0144) to place your order.  All major shipping companies base their shipping charges on the dimension of large shipping containers rather than actual weight.  Because framed pieces are shipped in "large" boxes, our web-site shipping system is based on dimension weight and size of box used for shipment.  Because of the various sizes of framed multiple pieces that could be ordered together, our shipping system is not designed to handle multiple frame orders.  

Domestic USA Shipping:  Clothing, miscellaneous items and unframed artwork is usually shipped via USPS Priority Mail.  Heavier items may be shipped via Fed Ex Ground. 

Framed or matted artwork is sent via FedEx Ground. "Custom Framing", "Museum Framing" and "Custom Mat Only" are made to order so please allow 2-3 weeks for shipment.

Overseas Shipments:  Shipments overseas, including Alaska and Hawaii, are based on the size, weight and destination of our shipment.  We usually ship framed and matted art via United States Mail. A few of our largest framed items are not recommended for overseas shipments because they exceed USPS size restraints and must be shipped with more expensive carriers. Sales Tax:  All Orders shipped to Maryland will be subject to a 6% sales tax
